A Room Swept White: new video ‘Revival’

Surrey metalcore quintet A ROOM SWEPT WHITE have revealed the video for their new single ‘Revival’ and have announced a September tour with Far From History.

Packed full of hearty riffs and huge hooks, A ROOM SWEPT WHITE have etched out a sound that is hard-hitting, yet still inventive – no easy task within the over-saturated metalcore genre.

‘Revival’ marks the band’s return to the scene following a short hiatus where they went away to fine tune their sound and ready themselves to take the metal scene by the horns.

Drummer James Farrant said:

“We wanted to create something hard-hitting to not only let people know that we’re back stronger than ever before with new and developed material, but to get ourselves mentally in the right frame of mind.

“We developed the song ‘Revival’ to describe the inner feeling of not being where you want to be, but picking yourself up and carrying on no matter the cost. Musically, the song is aggressive to say the least, but lyrically it focuses on optimism and ignoring those who have ever doubted us. The Revival is here.”

A ROOM SWEPT WHITE have sparked comparisons to The Ghost Inside, Architects, While She Sleeps and more, but whilst wearing their influences proudly on their sleeves, they are striving to create a sound uniquely their own.
