Counterparts “the difference between hell and home” (2013 -Victory Records-)
Counterparts from Canada are back with a huge dose of furious metallic hardcore: “the difference between hell and home” (2013, Victory Records) is a killer album with aggressive vocals and powerful guitars straight to the point from start to finish. Hard-hitting style for ferocious music with hard and harmonic parts well blended together; breakdowns are at home as long as the dynamic chords always there. Yes, this is modern hardcore that kick ass, no matter about melodies and those stuff; they don’t care about that. I heard a lot the influence of Shai Hulud, This Is Hell and Every Time I Die; anyway Counterparts have a sound of their own, beyond comparison. “The difference between hell and home” is an out standing release taking punk hardcore roots added by crushing elements of today’s hc style: I was really happy to listen good, genuine and heavy brutality music.
Compliments, this is a real masterpiece, pick it up now!
