Desire Before Death "s/t" (2006 -Self Produtcion-)
I'm pretty much happy to introduce a "debut metalcore band" from North Italy (Modena, Emilia Romagna): they're called Desire Before Death, born on srping 2005 by Massi (singer), Pelle (drums), Ventu (guitar); on June -of the same year- also Ronco (guitar) and on September Gio (bass) joined Desire Before Death. This dudes were interested into create a metalcore band, pushing up a rare genre, in Italy (only few kids still go on concretely with this kind one of scene). Yeah in Italy there're good metalcore bands (Sentence, Kernel zero, Day Shine Rising, Abel Is Dying…and many others) that play awesome stuff in a professional way. Desire Before Death are just joining this roster.
They play a metalcore flavoured of the hardest part of crossover and influenced by emo/hardcore music.
At the beginning Desire Before Death decided to play covers of Caliban, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, The Agony Scene, Trivium and As I Lay Dying: hence this Desire Before Death decided to push up their 1st demo "s/t", out on May 2006. Metalcore music (as I mentioned before) full of breakdowns and Swedish metal on such parts; vocals are alterned with low growls and powerful high screams. This four pieces songs were recorded by Mario Carlini with a discreet smell of success (however I can recognize each instrument and what Desire Before Death play about)....yeah but I heard stuff even much more bad.
This songs sound curious and I'm already waiting for smoething new, perhaps much more energic and fat as well.
